The Baseball MVR Stat can be used to record the number of mound visits remaining for a team. It is posted on scoreboards and on TV to inform fans and coaches of the limit. This was made a law when MLB came up with regulations that minimized the delays. The knowledge of the MVR stat can be used to understand why mound conferences are not necessary in cases where the pressure is high, and the game or match is at a late stage.
